Alex Hayes founded Blue Moon Communications to help clients—who range from local retailers to national catalogers— communicate effectively with their audiences.
Prior to establishing Blue Moon, Alex was Vice President of Corporate Marketing for Delta Education, where she built its Catalog Division from start-up to a $12-million business. Alex started her career in aerospace and defense, working as a Business Analyst for Martin Marietta’s Corporate R&D organization and then as Manager of Navy Programs Marketing for Raytheon Missile Systems Division.
Alex is a graduate of Raytheon’s Management Development Program and has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Loyola College. Among her honors and awards are a Golden Mike Award for a series of television commercials, first place in a poetry contest, various academic awards and listing in numerous editions of Who’s Who.
In 2004, she published a multi-media art book, Zydeco Shoes: A Sensory Tour of Cajun Culture.
